Is there anything fresher and cooler for hot weather than a white T-shirt?
We were continuing a run of unseasonably hot weather in the DC area when I wore this. I started by pulling out the linen J Jill cropped pants; they’re easy and breezy like a skirt, but with the freedom of movement of pants.
To stay light and lightweight, I chose the V-neck LOFT T-shirt.
All those light colors begged for some brights to go with them, so it was the perfect opportunity to pull out my bright orange Kate Spade Illia sandals (look familiar?), and that led me to one of my few not-silver accessories, a multicolored stone necklace from Payless (really!).
In a final bit of coordinated serendipity, I was already carrying this multicolored Kate Spade tote as my primary commuter bag slash handbag. (Now if I were clever, I’d pretend that I started with the tote and built my outfit around it.)
