Do you remember my outfit post from last month, when I winterized a summer wrap dress by layering it over a turtleneck and wearing it with tights and boots?
Having discovered a winning formula, I put it into action again, this time with a new knit dress in a summer weight.
(That’s the beauty of outfit formulas; they make creating new outfits a much easier exercise since you’re not starting with Square 1.)
Not only does the turtleneck take summer into winter, it helps with a low-cut wrap neckline which this dress also has a variation of.
Since this mock turtleneck doesn’t lend itself to wearing a necklace very well, I went with a belt for some extra visual interest. It makes the dress look a little more “office” and a little less “beach,” too.
Like the DVF wrap dress, this one has a print in predominantly brown colors, so I wore the same tights and boots again.
Hey, if it ain’t broke …
