I’m always glad every year when spring rolls around. By the time I’m sick of winter, it’s usually only half over.
Even though our DC winter was unusually mild this year, I’m still happy the seasons have rotated.
Mild or not, spring always brings with it variable temperatures. It’s chilly in the morning and warm in the afternoon, first dry and then wet.
What better way to handle the fluctuating day than with layers?
For this cooler day, I started with the white sweater, which has ¾-length sleeves, but it wasn’t quite warm enough, so I added the green cardigan on top.
I’m all about belting cardigans these days, so I tried that first, and it looked perfectly fine but I felt like trying something different.
That’s how I wound up belting the sweater under the cardigan, and leaving the cardie unbuttoned on top.
