Outfit post: Casual mama weekend wear [Level 1]

Yesterday, I wrote about what to wear for Memorial Day weekend and one of the recommendations was printed capris and a cotton top.

Here’s one version of that particular outfit combo. I don’t have printed denim–although I’m keeping my eyes open for a pattern I really like–but I do have these capris from Calvin Klein.

They’re a nice alternative to shorts when the weather is warm but not hot. (And if you’re fair-skinned like me, it also keeps more of you protected from the sun.)

What do you think of my “formal wear” T-shirt? If men can have one printed with a tuxedo, then we can have one printed with a string of pearls!

I usually opt for my black leather thong sandals with an outfit like this (here’s an example) but I decided to add some color with these turquoise ones from Nine West. I think turquoise works as a neutral, anyway.
