As I mentioned in my Friend Friday post about thrifting and consigning (and other ways of reducing clothing waste), these white linen Armani pants are my best consignment store find ever. Armani, dahling, Armani!
And yet I probably don’t wear them as often as I could (or should) because white pants are such a challenge. They are so unforgiving of life’s uncleanliness! It’s why I’ve let the white denim trend pass me by, too.
But when the mercury soars, it’s hard to resist wearing linen.
This time I decided to go for a black-and-white motif. I’ve had this flutter-sleeve H&M shirt for a while now. It’s super lightweight for summer, and I like the way I can change up the look of it by wearing it over different colored layers underneath.
What better shoes to wear than my black-and-white Bettye Muller kitten heel sandals?
Top: H&M. (similar, $18, 6pm.com).
Pants: Armani, consigned (similar, $68, Banana Republic).
Shoes: Bettye Muller ($355, Neiman Marcus)
